All three main UK parties are falling over themselves to accommodate bloggers ... alongside the more traditional media representatives.
Unpaid correspondents are being given background briefings and access to senior politicians. The reason? Well, it probably has less to do with the parties wanting to prove how web savvy they are than with their hope of receiving more sympathetic coverage from the new wave of citizen journalists.
